How to change Dvb power levels in Viasat system to get more acm gain level in iDirect platform ge23

Description:

 

This OI will help operators to decrease dvb power level in ViaSat in order for iDirect power level to get better ACM gain level. Please follow instructions below carefully.

 

Important note: This change might cause an impact or outage of 5-10 minutes to the customers. Please make sure you do it on off-peak time and inform your line manager(s) accordingly.

 

Note: You need to make sure you check the total terminal logon and traffic before doing this tasks.

 

• Once clicked, you will be connected to ViaSat NMS page as per screenshot below:

 

 

• You need to login using your login id and password.
• Once logged in, please click on the link above again and you will get following page displayed:

 

• Now, as you can see from above illustration, you can change following marked details.

 

 

• Once you pressed submit, it will change parameters you wished to change.
• Please check customers login and try to ping and check few random terminals and make sure they can login and serve internet properly. Also check the total number of terminal after your change and compare with before of change.
